SHOULDERS & UPPER EXTREMITY: April 2 - 3, 2008
The Shoulders & Upper Extremity Workshop is a lab session with references to functional anatomy. Basic anatomy helps us to understand how our bodies move. Specific movement skills will be explored biomechanically. Detailed examples of interrelation between muscle function and joint function. Manual techniques, including muscle testing, dynamic stability, visual cues and some fascial work will be addressed. Application will be made to pilates, yoga and movement in general (in relationship to attending practitioners' needs). |
